Halloween movie Marathon 2014 (October movie reviews)

I'll keep updating this as I watch movies but I'll publish this now so you can rent the movies if you'd like as well.

Salem's Lot- (2004) Stars Rob LoweI think I liked this one better even though it was almost (or exactly) 3 hours long. Oh Rutger Hauser otherwise known as Sookie's Fairy grandfather in Tue Blood is in this, who plays Borlow...mmmm is that where the TB writers got the name for (Macklin) Warlow as a twist on that? WOw are these vampires even the new ones long in the tooth! I'd say as long as my pinky finger and thin as a pin. This is worth a slot on The halloween movie marathon list!

Sight- (dvd) the sound is too low when they talk. It looks like an amature video to me as if it was a project not the nice crisp colors etc. you get from a 'real' movie. Around a half hour in I find it boring, the characters I don't like.

Session 9-  an asbestos removal crew get the bid to clean up a closed run down asylum (I think it's the one that was in American Horror Story season 2), When one of the guys go missing. Another is poking his nose around the records archive and usually nothing good comes from  that. David Caruso of CSI;Miami stars and Josh Lucas is in it as well.  As usual in these types of movies the workers seem to start gong loony themseles either my arguing amoung one another or possibly having halucinations. This was different than the usual cliched 'Haunted asylum' movies, So I give it some originality points. It's suspenseful and I was surprised with what I'd call the twist. B

Transformers: Age of Extinction-  so we'[ve got a sort of cloaning thing going on only 'upgrading' say Bumblebee's transformium metal into stinger. I think Galvatron came from Optmus Prime but sounds & acts more like a Decepticon. The girls boyfriend in here in one scene I thought was Chris Hemsworth, though this guy I can't get a bead on his accent, sometimes he sounds Irish, others aussie, & sometimes English... So I look him up on IMDB.com & he's from Colorado.  Alot of the bots in this remind me of things from other sci-fi robot alien movies. For instance, when Galvatron stands up he looks like Gypsy Danger (or at least that large hole in the chest) from Pacific Rim, Then from BattleShip there's mini versions of those zipper looking balls that rip up pavement etc. Then there's what to me looks like a turd falling off the ship in this & looks like those worm alien things from Avengers. I hope those similarities are just me but I'm still taking points away for that, the action is good, so the movie doesn't full feel like its almost 3 hours (or at least once it gets going) but I might have to watch it again to see how I really feel about it. It didn't feel as good as the previous entries of the series. C

The Changeling- John loses his wife and child to a raodside accident. When he has somewhat moved on, he becomes a music professor and moves into an historical  home that turns out to be haunted. John then uncovers the mystery  of the sprit. For an 80s movie I give it a B

Warlock 1-3  -   Basically more or less tha same plot in ways but at least in th 3rd I think the decendant of a witch finally gets rid of the warlock.  The first 2 is basically trying to bring forth the child of the devil or the evil himself and the 3rd the decendant of a witch inherits a home and spends some time in it in hopoes of learning of her family.  Not the best of series and I wouldn't recommend.

Dracula Untold -  I couldn't wait to see this in the theater! The movie was originally titled Dracula Yera Zero, with Sam worthington attached, what happened to that project I do not know but Wortho in my eyes is just not vampire material. When I saw Luke Evans as Vald Tempes I was quite thrilled; besides, he's got his own fangs!  I already know quite a bit of the true 'Dracula' being as it means Son of the Dragon and by others Son of the Devil I didn't need this movie to tell me that. Other parts I already knew as well to be actually true that he was a beloved ruler and some of the other truths about him as well so the story was nothing new to me other than how Vald becomes Dracula. There is a titular moment where he says "You forget who I am" to which would be his legend Vlad the Impaler. Not much gore or 'horror' but more of a fictional true story. I do love the parts where Luke is fanged out and up in his enemies face. Luke Evans I say was made to play the role, he made it his own and I hope there will be a sequel greenlit. The action scenes were great esp. the 1000 to 1 odds! Also have to give credit to the costume crew for that great armor they had with the Dragon on it as well as the sculpted shoulder pieces! (If only I had the money to buy it from whoever I'd have to!)  The movie was fun and was happy I would have a Dracula movie in time for Dracula Day (yes there actually is one! It falls on Bela Lugosi's birthday October 20). There is something however missing from the movie (unless that was just me knowning most of the tale), howeer i still think it's worth the watch in the theater and I will be getting it on blu-ray when it comes out.   C+
So I haven't read this yet, just came along but from the title.. I'm excited!! http://screenrant.com/dracula-untold-shared-monster-movie-universe-nycc/
http://ihorror.com/theatrical-review- by one of their writers

Annabelle- The doll from the conjuring gets it's own movie (I think we saw this prequel coming, didn't we?) The stroy is based on the real life Ragedy Ann doll below in it's case in the Warren's Occult museum.  The movie was ok, but not creepy like the Conjuring or the first Insidious, though it has it's own Insidious creep out.  You do get to see a demon, but to me he was much more menacing (try saying that 3x fast!) in the basement shot, than the cheap  blink & you miss it in your face scare. When it's close up it looks more like a gargoyle to me, & well Gargoyles are supposed to protect the building (& its residents) it rests on. So for me it wasn't really scary (maybe if it was on a big screen in my house or my aunt's with the lights out esp in her house as it makes lots of noises!) other than the basement for me. I did however enjoy it B

Dark Circles- As to those under your eyes. A pair of new parents get no sleep when their infant wakes up constantly in the night. The mother thinks she's seeing ghosts and the husband doesn't believe her. Pretty predictable and not at all original. Don't waste your time...D

The Frankenstein Theory- Some guy has a theory Frankenstein's monster is actually real. This is based on some letters in his family's archive. he has a film crew go on his expedition with him (cliched docu- film).  I like the basis of it as its an interesting take on ol' "Frankie' instead of the same recycled story and monster with big long square head and looking like a baseball in other incarnations. This one I don't even know how to describe (the scare of this Frankenstein is more your imagination as I don't think we ever get a close enough look to see what the monster looks like). They did have me right to the end which to me ends abruptly.  C- (minus for the ending)

September Movie Reviews

Bad Words-  Rated R stars jason Bateman as a 40 year old named Guy with no High School education. Finding a loophole in the rules for Spelling bees that makes him eligible he sets his sights on winning with a reporter in tow trying to find out what his motivation is.
My favorite part is the 'guys night'  When Bateman isn't spouting profanity laced insults or said favorite part.. the movie gets boring. Well (well that came out of left field Laughs)  that was a unexpected! (can't tell ya it's at the end!)  C

Need For Speed- Wow there's some wicked F'n cool cars in this. Something that sounds like its called an Auger (or something like that) Forget about Messin with Sasquach I nearly fell off the couch laughing at the 'exit strategy'  from the rest stop (& I don't mean the fancy footwork) This was a fun movie. And I swear they actually had sets of building etc from the game. There was a few spot I swear I do remember from the game when I've played. B

Pure Country 2: The Gift- Not my thing Only rented it because Travis Fimmel is in it. The storyline seems like a movie made for Lifetime or Hallmark channels, and just as thin. At least the acting is a bit better than those. D

Afflicted- So I thought this was just going to be some weird tourist meet cannibals movie or something like that. Nope, but it will teach you not to bring strangers back to  your room or go to theirs. Sort of Hostel meets (oh what's the name of the movie) Touristas I think..(Checks IMDB not the right title I thought, and I can't think of the name) whatever  it is  they go away and they whole party was kidnapped  and (or) Killed  one by one. I'll just say Derrick  starts acting weird after a night in Paris. Sleeping too long, not eating much if at all as for Originality I'd give it a 3 out of 5 as it's been done before but in a way, has it's own spin even if that's just an amaglomation of a few different types of movies in one. Not quite found footage but documenting everything for ther travel website, Vacation gone arway. As far as I feel about it C-  nice effort but to me some parts seem amature, and maybe a little rip off. One Derrick is fully afflicted it reminded me of a commercial for a video game One of the horror ones, Left for Dead comes to mind though. The part where you see him on the floor and looks up with the eyes (you'll know what I mean when you see it)  I swear is a full on rip off of the scene I thought of in that commercial.  C-

Cemetery Junction - 1 1/2 hours english comedy starring Christian Cooke & Ricky Gervais Directed by Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant
Well it's a bit depressing in ways, bland in the marries and take your spouce for granted sort of way, + wanting to get away from your crappy little town to be and do something. C

Only Lovers Left Alive- 2 hours long  Looking for action? don't bother! This stars Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton & Co-starring John Hurt. Tom plays Adam a musician & vampire;  who is depressed with the world of humans, who in some way have become tainted (not sure if they ever explained it). For some reason the vampires call humans zombies in this (how insulting yet at the same time I get the metaphor). Adam has a 'zombie' named Ian who helps him acquire antique guitars and other things for his music. Ian seemed very familiar but whoever the actor, is desguised well, however sounded very familiar and some movements etc. after awhile I thought wait that sounds like Anton Yelchin and some of his other 'tells' I noticed as well. Whadda ya know, I was right it is him. So anyway, Adam's wife for centuries, Eve  comes to to help him get out of his funk. Her sis Ava stops by for a visit and there's much hostility on Adam's part toward her, and messes things up for Adam. Don't be tired when you watch this. Not sure how I got through it (maybe my love of all things vampire? Or the facts 'Loki' has grown a set of fangs? Yeh I think that's it. THe rocker look I think suit Tom well. beyond that  It's a toss up. It's kind of artsy I guess in way so I'm not sure how to grade this. I'll go with at least a C because some may hate it & others will love it I'm a bit of both.

Homefront- starring Jason Statham, winona Ryder, James Franco & Kate Bosworth who at first is so unreconizeable! While undercover Phil Broker has infultrated a Motorcycle club and takes down a heroine house. He retires to (somewhere in) Louisianna with his daughter. The daughter is getting bullied and that's when all the story beings to pick up.The town shoud jsut because Bully'anna.  As an actor I don't like Franco but I think this was a better suited role for him. He is quite nuts in it, but then again that's what happens when you juice on your own stuff. I didn't get that wooden feeling from him in this. I almost didn't reconize Kate Bosworth or Winona Ryder but Kate well looked just like any other white trash druggy. All in all Broker ends up repeating history. One thing I'll say /....Cool exlosion ....C

The Dead Matter- Gretchen finds an amulet that brings back & controlls the dead. Some ancient vampire is trying to get his mitts on it. Not original, tho Tom Savini (yeah the same gu from Dusk til Dawn w/ the crotch gun)  in this he plays a vampire that to me seems to be a mobster. Oneo f the characters makes diet drugs which you don't find out the point of  what this diet drug has to do in the movie until the end! (Which was a sort of unexpected twist)  D

The Quiet ones-  Says its inspired by actual events
Some sort of class (Paranormal Sciences?) at Oxford in 1974 at Oxford   are doing a study to (I think) somehow prove the spirit world exists.   I had to watch awhile to find out what the actual project was. The project is to cure Jane of what they think is a psychosis. The movie feels long when it's not, it's only like an hour and a half (maybe a little more running time without the credits). Ok I oddly didn't see that twist coming so bonus points there. There were a few scenes I thought could have been edited out & would still have told the story well, and makes me wonder what did end up on the cutting room floor! It's a toss up D or C

The Adventurer: Curse of the Midas box- Well that was more lively than the other movie I watched last night.  Ioan Gruffudd (sp?) is in it, oh for only a bit in the beginning & end. In this the Midas 'curse' is not that everything you touch turns to gold. It's a box thought that anything that's put in it is supposed to turn to gold; however when an amulet is put on top of it it turns into a weird sort of gun. That's blasts soemthing like a laser beam. It was alright there is another one so I might get that as well..

X-men: Days of Future Past- fave quote (or sort of) Wolverine to (well in human form) Beast  (well basically) We're Good Friend (in the future) ::Then punches him::  I wish Colassus would get more time in these movies, he's always in the back drop, when he should be a main character (so under used).  I mean he's been in 2-3 X-men movies now, yet doesn't get some sort of sub-plot but yet we are introduced to Quicksilver (played by Evan Peters from American horror Story)  in this. The character  will have a different face when he shows up in Avengers 2: The Age of Ultron (which I swear my mouth keeps trying to say Voltron!). All I'll say is the actor is 'Kick-ass'. There's a few laughs and  just enough action to be satisfied. There's soemthing that disappointed me but I can't put my finger on it.  I'm not sur eif it was the plot but it felt something was lacking.  C

Cool Breeze falling leaves...It's coming September 16- 21

Tuesday 16- so last night season 19 started for Dancing with the stars and yeah I'm watching again why? because Alfanso Ribiero, Tommy Chon (Cheech & Chon), Michael Waltrip (Nascar) & an actual Fashion designer I heard of (but can never remember her name) but she's in her 70s and she can do cartwheels & Splits. With Walltrip in this I know there's going to be quite  few funny moments and I wasn't wrong. First quote something about a booty looking like a bag of cats or something like that. Also watched under the dome and it's getting weirder or should I say crazier? Maybe it's both. It's just very enjoyable as it's never boring, I just feel bad for Mike Vogel's character 'Barbie' always seems to be getting beat up in some way shape or form.

Thursday 18- So today mom decided last minute to go to Central ave. (even though I was expecting an important call back plus had to make 2 appointments. But I still went out. We went to go to Bed Bath & Beyond to find a certain brushg I've seen on tv. I forget the name of it but there's 3 different ones, one ofr Fine, Normal & Thick hair. It's supposed to make it easier to brush & get through any tangles easier. They look like this <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HU5T4NC/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00HU5T4NC&linkCode=as2&tag=zodiaci-20&linkId=CAIRUWRBQO2GKSA4">Michel Mercier Ultimate Detangling Brush, As Seen on TV</a><img src="http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=zodiaci-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B00HU5T4NC"  /> but as I have Thick hair.. the one I got was blue. I won't be getting it til the holidays though, this way hopefully I'll forget about it & will be a surprise.
I also found a loom for $5 for those stupid loom bracelets just one thing.. It's easier to do it by hand if you are doing a single bracelet from the instructions that are enclosed, they are so not good in helping to learn how to do it. So I suggest to look on line on Youtube for videos.

So after this we stopped at Nathan;s for lunch being it was before the next stop,  (and yes that nathan's we have our own & if I rememebr right it was the 2nd of the franchise. Sadly it's alot smaller than it was, & thre's not arcade not even at least one pinball machine! Grrrr!!!! But I LOVE the fries I do agree with the best fries in the world line. So I had a hotdog & about 95% of the large fry as well as a lemonade (love the lemonade from there)  AFter this

She stopped at the dollar store but there wsas such a long line, & I was already hurting when I got up as well as the past few days. You could barely get through the store even if you didn't have a cart or basket! So I went to the car (& thank goodness I started to feel anxious)
after this we went home. I felt so worn out. I barely even watched The Chew (which ven though it's a food show, I actually like watching. The cast is funny and its fun to watch.  So let's home between tonight & tomorrow I will finish my book that was no more than 230 pages!

Saturday 20- Worked on fixing up broken links in hubpages.. but for some reason it takes forever to do anything on that site. Not sure if its the comp (but it seems fine with everything else) but I'm not digging it much. I liek that you can make yur articles look like a nespaper artciels the way they have it set up. But having to put your tax info in (squidoo never asked us for that) so I have to figure out some other way to get the royalties (which I have the idea I just don't want 100+ blogs (or seperate pages) just to include that info.

Sunday 21- So I worked on another 1 or 2 of those pages watched the Nascar race sadly Joey Lagano won at least Harvick will still be in the chase as he came in top 3 or 5... Wow tonights episode of THe Strain was a bit sick tonight & (with a chuckle) I tell you one of the characters actually heard me say to break up the vampire's coffin! So thank goodness fall tv is now here at least some new shows & returning start tomorrow night even though today felt like we went back to the summer. It was 78-80 degrees but was muggy or humid and it made me feel a bit sick to my stomach I actually put my fan back in my window

Hope all is good with you all Go to my writing page.. (on this blog) & check out my pages on Writedge, Bubblenews, & wordpress. THe more hits, comments, Likes etc I get (as well as if you purchase anything on them)  I can get a bit of $ as reward so to speak. (I jsut wish we got paid month by the # of pages we have instead of just a little bit of royalties.

Have a good night & in case i don't talk to you before hand.. good week as well.

I'm one Crafty Creature

So I have alot of interests & hobbies and when it comes to crafts,
But I'm not Near the water (other than the hudson but that's a few mile away)mental-benefits-water_

i can never seem to be able to focus on more than one or 2 at a time. For instance I have been making earrings with a  summer / beach theme.
Here are a few from

Creative Link- crafts album   (if you cannot see the pictures please let me know as it's a facebook album so I'll have to change the setting for it)

Make your own Bed Pocket  Thse are great when Youa re sick (you can keep tissues, cough drops etc at hand, or when you are not.. keep the remotes close, books, tablets, cell phones make 2 one for each side of the couch & beds... You can hang them from the head board (with a removeable hook) & so on. Take them when you stay over a hotel or someone's house (for the things you don't really want to get out of bed for) heck you could keep a bottle of water in them!

Under the Fireworks June 30 (evening) - July 6

Under the dome  character connections They are connected how, why & still what's up with the dome?  (when I first saw it.. it reminded me of a snow globe I had. well It was more of a dome than a whole globe which I would LOVE one of Downtown Toronto but I don't think I have anywhere to put it. (need a small one for my Hutch)    Wow that was an impressive start to season 2

Tuesday July 1
WOW! that was an explosive opening (not leterally tho) but definately left an impression, as well as the ending of the pilot.
Here's a money saving site I'd like to share with you  Budget101.com banana-bites

to all of my northern Neighbors & any 'adopted' Canadians

Wednesday 2  Not much Up.. put a few more things together for hanging at my aunt's house
some entertainment, food & whatever else I think of. My back is still bothering me as well my hip. No idea how I'm gong to be able to walk the dog etc.
When I got up today I didn't feel like I slept at all, I don't remember much but I do remember finally reading & making a dent in my book. Fell asleep when I woke up I felt a bit better, but my back etc still a problem

Thursday 3   So today I atleast feel like I slept, sadly the back doesn't feel as good. I just want my 'normal  pain' (that I constantly feel but doesn't feel lijke I have needles in my thigh, my left hip & as if my spine is cemented in place.

Friday 4                       Hope you have a Happy Independence Day
didn't do much of anything just hung out in my room & watched a few movies. I even watched avengers again while trying to fix one of my nails. (it's broken in a  bad spot, that I can't just cut it off needs to be glued & all that)  my back still hurts & my right thigh as well. I'm not thrilled with the 4th but then again I did get hit with a bottle rocket when I was a kid  at our 'cousins' part  basically family reunion on dad's side) Well it was aimed away from all of us but after it took off, turned around & hit my cousin David & me. So likely if there's any form of fireworks around I know how the pets feel and I'm not impressed however This I can appreciate
Fireworks like you've never seen them before!

ok so the darn video didn't want to post for some reason, so I included the link instead

The parents away the cat & Kimi will play Sept 8- 15

Monday 8th

Came across this on IHorror.com Jack the Ripper IDed?!
I started working on updating my movie calendar (which comes in quite handy as I don't always see commercials for some of the movies I hear about even if they have come to theaters here.

I've been keeping up with a basic page for MOvies & Tv so far on here.. (check out my pages)
Once I figure things out better with all the various pages and learn to use them, I will likely hopefully be able to make nicer looking pages on here (or one of my other options!)

So mom & Dad are away and I get to have room to do a bunch of stuff I need to, only problem? I have so much I want to get done while they are out of the way it's only monday (& was in pain again) and I'm stressing about getting the stuff done!

I'm working on my patchwork, want to make up some clay  Replicas of the shields on the show (these ones I'll likely put pin backings on). I do have a few that I already made, one of them wasa gift for my pal Viki who I made a pin version of Lagertha's.  I also plan on working on my stories, poems, hopefully work on practicing my Viking knit as far as I can thik right now, But I also need to clean the kitchen floor, & was hoping to tidy up the corner that has the stuff I have for a tag sale Books & clothes & whatever else is there.

Tuesday 9-  had an appointment today (with my anxiety counselor) woke up in pain of course hard to move around. It's nice and cool outside yeah jeans weather!!!  got down there early & so I had a couple of hashbrowns & a sweet tea from McDonald;s then went to the clinic to wait til my appointment. Read most of what was left of my book to finish (ended up reading the last 12 pages at home.  Even brought my next book with me I was planning on reading in case I finished before hand.
Sewed together some of the squares I set up for the 'quilt'. dosed off  on couch for awhile & I don't think I'm getting on computer tonight.

Wed 10- OMG I need some morphine today! Why am I in pain this week? The change in weather? Usually the cooler weather doesn't bother me. I usually get all the pain when it gets humid, oh well let's home I won't be one of those bitty's that hate cold weather when they're older cause I love my fall & winter weather. My neck doesn't want to move, my hip is killing me as well as my lower back. I got up to feed the cat & do that stuff but went back to bed.
Wow that Sons of Anarchy Episode was a bit crazy (well at least 2 parts had my jaw drop a bit  chuckle a bit or both!)  Don't mess with Bikers!!!! All I've got to say!
Ok so ladst night I started on a new book
The Student Body by Valerie Wolzien  & part of the "Susan Henshaw Mystery" series (book  #12) though this is the first I'm reading of them.

ken-daneyko-devils-new-color-analyst-on-msg-networks-full-telecast-schedule-included
My fave comedian Jeff Dunham has  Lot's going on... wait a movie?!?!?!!? maybe another book and a tv show?!?!!?!?! & a 2nd article on him

Thursday so last night or this morning well howeer you want to put it.. I didn't go to bed til 6 am!! my back & rest of my bod has been bothering me so much that I guess once I didn't hurt so much that I could actually move around it was as if I just woke up or something! I got a jolt of energy so I tidied up a bit changed the cat litter and a few (minor & not quote major) things that needed to get done around the house. I also got a few things I've been needing to update done as well.
So I'm just trying to work on my hubs on hubpages  (which are the pages from Squidoo so I just have to try &get them to the hubpages guidelines which is more limited!

Friday   There is a car som ewhere in the neighborhood I want to destroy! I don't even care what kind but some dumb ass has their alarm set on a sensative setting that every time there's a breeze the damn thing goes off.. & I have a headache now! I'm so annoyed I hpe the damn thig ets totaled the next time they take it out!

So aside from that I made my smoothie today, also did light vaccuming & cleaned kitchen floor before mom & dad come home tomorrow. I think I might make my chocolate pudding pie (love instant!) Just sad I dont' have any whipped cream.

Saturday  So the fun ends.. Mom & Dad are home & I got most of what I wanted (if not eerythign) done.

Sunday- didn't go on the ciomputer yesterday & jsut on today to check tweets & again not getting to email... Watched the 1st race of the Nascar Sprint Cup Chase sadly Keslowski won ... (but.. My Kevin was in first or 2nd with Larsson for awhile.... I'm so annoyed! at least he came in top 5. (Sadly though I am not sure if they means he's still in the chase or not.

September 2 - monday 8

HAPPY SEPTEMBER!

;-( Sad I'll never get there R.I.P. universal-studios-house-of-horrors-hollywood/

Ok so it's Wednesday 3 so for the past few days on & off I have been setting up the places I will be doing my writing. Sadly I go from 1 place, to basically 'testing' (but likely will leave whatever I post on) I think it's 5 sites, which includes this.

Some of the sites I have already started writing on others I am waiting to see when & if my old squidoo pages (if any) will transfer over to hubpages before I start to post that stuff, then I have to fig. what site would be best to use for the longer pages. Hate this as it's a pain to keep rack of everything & make sure I have them all mentioned on each profile!

http://zodiacimmortal.hubpages.com/
http://zodiacimmortal.wordpress.com/
http://writedge.com/author/zodiacimmortal/
ZodiacImmortal on Bubblenews
this way you can hopefully keep up & follow me. (that plus this time if one of them close down (gods I hope not!), then hopefully I won't have to go as crazy backing up! I hope)

so the first article which was a preview of As above so below has been nixed so now I am trying to find out on posting another. So far I have yet to hear back from the person.

I've saved a few pages to ref. but I think I will have to post them to a page to find easily.

So far I have a few posts on Wordpress.. you can check my review on Needle here http://zodiacimmortal.wordpress.com/2014/09/03/sewing-suspense-and-horror-with-needle/

Movie Reviews - August

Open Grave- Sharlto Copley  (district 9) wakes  up in a mass grave with no memory of who he is. There are others he comes to find with the same dilema; or shall I say affliction?
They're on property that as they find buildings and such, looks to me like some sort of camp (let's hope not Crystal Lake). They have flashes of who they are (once were) or what happened to them, as they come across dead bodies around the property among other surprises. Maybe it's some sort of asylum or sc ience experiment Interesting psycho thriller.. WORTH A WATCH

Grand Budapest Hotel- I'm not sure how to explain this movie. I thought it was a comedy which there are some some funny parts but maybe also a mystery caper of sort. I woulnd't say it was bad nor good. I'm pretty much baffled by it in a way. (I think this was 2 or more hours)  TOSS UP

Banshee Chapter-  1 hour & 27  minutes running time
This is a tgrue story of a journalist  who in vestigates a friend's death which leads to a trail of government cover ups. I think the guy that plays James (the friend who goes missing) played Steve Newlin in True Blood. The Trippy hippy author oh & add paranoid to that has some chemical the (I think it was) CIA was working with.  Other than mystery not sure what other genre to describe this as. About half way through the movie I started to do my nails while watching so i guess it gets a bit weird that I lost a bit of interest. D+

Godzilla (2014) - I wanted to see this in the theater so bad! For some reason I just couldn't. The times were too late or whatever the case, finally I get to see it but I'm glad I didn't ahve to pay to see it in the theater. I heard it was bad but I never listen to the reviews from tv news (there's only one place I listen to the reviews or shall I say read and take heed that is Entertainment weekly. Usually if I see a movie before the review comes out from them I'm usually on par with the grade they give.
I remember something on the news when the movie came out that the Japanese said Godzilla looks fat.... I thought maybe it would turn out the be jsut that one angel in the movie trailer but....YEP no matter what angle its at, it still looks fat. There's some other monster, though I'm not sure what kind it looks like a bug to me, at first i thought a praying mantis then I thought a pterdactyl but at times to me it also sounds sort of machanical so I gave up on trying to figure it out.
An hour and thirty minutes into the movie and I'm SILL loving Pacific Rim more! (A big razberry to the lot of ya that don't like it!)  This ozilla just isn't intense and dramatic enough though 'Zilla is a good catch! The creature's 'beak' looks like a staple remover not to mention more a mechanical block head (mm is it a transformer in disguise?) than our beefier Godzilla. When he first shows up your just like oh Humm.. plus he doesn't quite have that well known Godzill Pitch (to his roar)  It's there but there's a few keys (high pitch) missing to it compared to the old ones. (I mean even the late 90s early 2000s one I think had the right pitch (or at least alot closer than this one) definately Lack Luster! D

Supercross -2005 PG-13 1:32 min running time
a Pair of brothers are motor Cross drivers by night & pool boys by day  when Trip (Mike Vogel) gets a chance at the big time and bites it his brother Kasey (Steve Howley) carries on  as the brawn for the team. Arron Carter is also in it, and Channing Tatum plays pro racer Rowdy the pro Kasy protects.

Divergent-  I'm sick of all the YA books becoming movies, sadly none of the books I'd like to see as a movie (or even tv series) likely won't happen.  I haven't read the books, so I have no idea on comparing tham (which may be a good thing). This was an enjoyable movie. It didn't feel 'teen' to me. I enjoyed the action and story and frankly would see the sequel. B

Enemy- Jake Gyllanhall stars. His character goes about his life and after watching a movie notices that there's someone that looks like him, Identically! I skipped a bit here & there then I just sopped. The 1st 45 minuts just may as well watch paint dry  F

Spliced-(2002)  I've seen this before, possibly under an different title.  No it's not the Adrian brody movie. It has Drew Lachey from 98 degrees in it! The girl I think was having nightmares or sleep walking. She sees some movie called The Wisher and gets really paranoid about it. SHe thinks someone is following her and granting her wishes in a wicked way.  D

BEAST- Tv series starring Patrick Swayze & Travis Fimmel (Vikings)
So far I've only seen the first disk (4 episodes I think) They play FBI agents & Travis' character (Not sure if I heard right but I think his name is)  Dove   (intersting name)  seems to get picked on a bit. Not sure if I like it enough but there's only 2 more disks to watch so why not, plus I LOVE Travis.
So the show is compelling and I am hooked. Something is up with Swayze's character that there are agents trying to get 'Dove' to spy on him for them and well I think that mystery part is what hooked me.

Transcendence- Ok if only I could see a day where people start using their computers laptops and other electronics for door stops!~ Neat healing trick when hooked up to a network! Will in the computer tries to help heal the earth and make all the water pure and such. How far is too far when it comes to advanced technology? I think one reason people didn't like the movie (or so I heard) was because maybe it scared them, or at least made them think. I thought themovie could have been better.

Rio 2-  Wow Nice & colorful the best way to see this one is on the HD tv with Blu-ray!@ here's a bit of music numbers (I don't remember that from the first)  I did like the way they wrote the  "I will survive' parody number. THe dance in when the get to the rainforest . At times to me it was a cartoon version of Avatar just with birds. C-

Freezer- starring Dylan McDermott as Robert who wakes up in  a freezer on his birthday. Peter Facinelli plays undercover cop (or so he says) Sam who looking in the shape he's in, isn't going to last long. I don't really care for movies that take place in one location (ie: Phonebooth)  through the whole thing (or so far seems) it's just boring.  Though this so far stays in the one location tit's a mystery and that is what has me hooked (that and maybe the Russian lesson) and pushing me on. THe movie is in english but the Russian mafia is involved in the story line which I think there was a hole or 2 bu I could have just missed something. Oh well that was a twist I didn't see coming! C+

Expendables 3-     So I think they are in Russia to start things off on a retrieval (rescue?) mission. Snipes character mentions the reason he was put away... breaking the 4th wall with that one! & we have art imitating true life! Some good jokes and a few that felt forced. Antonio Banderas  is apparently the yappy mascot and around for a little more comedic relief. I think this is a sort of passing of the torch for the younger actors in this (who the only one I have a clue about is Kellan Lutz) but the spanish guy looks familiar.  Honestly I wish they would have had Vinny Jones & Kevin Durand in an instalment of the movie.  I thi nk this was made just to close out the series. Plenty of action but well... D

What's all The hullabaloo August 21 -29

So since friday  the 15th (it's the 21st today) I have been backing up all my squidoo pages by hand.  By that I mean going on each page & saving everything on it including the pics, not the export way they have it on the site. (The stupid thing wouldn't work for me).
So now I am trying to figure out where to put my 'orphan' pages that 'were' on squidoo (they are still there for the time being until October then the site will cese to exist.

Now that- that is all finished I have transferred to Hubpages but I'm not planing on posting all my pages to that site, some may show up on there as squidoo said some of the best squid pages will be transferred there.

Friday 22- Went out with John again no one showed so we went to where Dana (we met last friday) was working and hung out there a bit. After that we went to Brewski's like the bar but not how loud it is. Then slept over and I think I get motion sickness from his bed. Every time you move you feel it. So again I didn't sleep well. I better be able to in the Hotel this weekend in Long Island (i think or is it NJ,  I forget)

At least I'll get my tan (hopefully) the end of the summer & will hopefuylly last longer

Saturday 23 - came home early again I just can't sit around in a bed (if it's not mine lol or at least if I'm not reading but certainly not when every time someone moves you do as well. So I had about enough)  This sleeping over shit may have to end for a bit!

Saunday 24- at some point I started to have an anxiety attack. Not severe but not really minor either. I t hink between John asking me if I'm happy, how I feel about him & all that I think it's beacsue of that. I don't know what to do & no idea if I'm hapy even when I may be happy. usually I just feel indifferent if I'm not laughing (which is the only time I could say I might be happy)  at something.

Monday 25- mom & I went out to Kohl's she got me a couple new pieces of clothes. We had lunch at Five Guys & I got a milkshake.. what kind?  a Peanut Butter banana Oreo one (tasted mostly like peanut butter then after a bit with oreo chuinck & cream in it!never tasted any banana. Stopped at Joann's as I've been eyeing a storage thing for some of my jewlery making stuff I figured it would be easier to show what I have when I visit fam so I know what they would like soemthing made out of. So that's with a bit of money left from birthday or holidays from some past year.  GOt my stuff together for this weekend.

Tuesday 26- awww Sully came in my room while dad was up & gave me lots of hugs, and cuddled up with me. I felt so queasy & tired. I freaking hate PMS! So I am mostly packed for the weekend, then I call John to see when we are supposd to be leaving to go, not answering. Ok so I think maybe he's in a meeting.  He texts back that he thinks I'm not happy (I never said I wasn't, but I haven't been feeling well) and he doesn't think it's working out. Well at least it's only 2 weeks! And now I don't have to spend my money! Yet he's the one all "How do you feel;  Do I make you happy" He's sounds more like what guys say us girls sound like, so fine!~ Mom was nice to treat me to a couple new tops & a pair of new shorts for the trip so thank you! And the shirt and the shorts look so CUTE/Sexy!! I'm wearing one of them out this week, I have decided (well whenever I go out.) Also I'm not letting him ruin my weekend. I think I'll treat myself to going to the pool in the park near me. just not sure if I HAVE to have a park pass or not.

Horror making it's own version of Expendables -with-the-survivors/

So now I can just do my usual and not worry about drama & 'begging' for how I feel.

I can't get the stupid sd card to work in the computer so here's a link to the baby shower, I hope it works Pics from the baby shower

weird-but-real-medical-conditions

Thursday 28-  So mom & I went out today as we got Kohl's cash & there were a pair of earrings I liked the last time I was there, it was an owl but the kind you can pose (sort of.. it's jointed I guess you could say)
So yeah! I found them, and they had tiny earrings mom pointed out so I got a pair of skull ones for my top piercing in my right ear.

We also went to the dollar store, yeah I got a planner for 2015 (well its for my desk anyway as I already have one for my purse)

We also went to Nathan's my fave fries!!

Ooh I don't play the game but I am dying for the movie world of warcraft to come out. (or I think they are just calling it warcraft) and finally some form of news.. (I just wish we cold get some sort of sneak peak in the form of a still shot. even if it's just a landscape.
http://www.zap2it.com/blogs/warcraft_rob_kazinsky_interview_azeroth_cgi-2014-08

Friday 29-  So I am working on a Movie page 'Silver Screen' it is published already I wil post news I find and so on, I also made a Word Press account http://zodiacimmortal.wordpress.com/So far I only have one entry but Its a couple of poems Horror theme I sent in to an online horror site (I will let you know more if I get good news) Being as I only have a free account on word press I'm not sure how often or many pics I can post, but I was thinking of actually posting some of my old squidoo pages there, but I will see about that as time goes on. I am all out of wack with having to change over & what sites I want to post on. Some may be better than others for certain topics I've written on so I have to figure that out. Word Press I'm not yet familiar with but I will learn as I go along. Wish me luck. (I also have posted the Talking Telley with what I have collected of the new fall skedule so far)

So in thought of Halloween I plan on being a mummy. Every time I look at my lamp I see my Ankh and was like oh crap I need a scarab bettle for the costume too! So I found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/380760925441?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I just hope it's not too big or small. the size is noted in millimeters

I also got this but not sure what for yet... http://www.ebay.com/itm/330949066342?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

also as it is ending today & the cheapest one I've found I figured to get the sculpting tool http://www.ebay.com/itm/390673175161?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

& after looking I came upon this http://www.ebay.com/itm/311069346059?_trksid=p2060778.m1431.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

So aftter working a bit on the blog & the 2 new pages (as well as having published my own version of a Concert festival for Laborday weekend...)
I am going back to reading my Black Dagger Brotherhood book, watch a movie and who knows what else.. possibly make more earrings! (It frustrates me to no end that I can't post pictures etc as I made a few more & with the Kohl's cash we got from getting a few items the beginning of the week that were supposed to be for my trip... I got that pair of owl earrings I liked that I saw when we were there the other day and wish I could post a picture of them for you. :-(

Ok so update on that ihorror I  mentioned before, they are looking for writers and the requirements were to have experience with Word Press, Have to post regularly (which in the reply to my email would be at least once a week.)  it starts out as volunteer type work but can become an actual gig!
I am currently working on my first article for it now. (Not sure when I will send it but will be in the coming week few days as I might try and see it in the theater.) Will make note of link of the article from my blog here (or in next entry)

Holding the Heathen Hammer High - heathens-in-military-interview-with

Saturday 9- Mom dad & I went to Middletown/Wallkill  area. I actually got to have a Grandslam  breakfast at Denny's. That was soo good! Actually found the 'fastners' I was looking for in wallmart and got something else there as well. I also got a few things I needed for making jewlery (didn't need much though) I also noticed I was a naughty girl, there was stil another item or 2 in my bag after I checked out & didn't notice til I got home!

Sunday 10-  Finished off making a piece of jewlery for a friend (who will remain nameless in case they are readinging this) as well as a sewed another item for them. Watched Nascar Stewart & Kevin Ward jr. accident

For the animal lovers A-Homeless-Kitten-Snuck-Into a zoo...... no this isn't the start of a joke.. click the link & check out the new friends!

Have a bit of a rant...  be it you post from phone or actual computer keyboard... WHY do people write birFday (esp. on twitter) you may as well just write Birthday if you are going to put the F in there you sound like an uneducated indiot. just write Bday instead

Monday 11- disbelief, denial, are just a couple of responses to the news of Robin Williams death. When I first heard it I didn't believe it, then I started to go through some of my tweets (mobil notifications) & saw many of my favorite actors & such posting about it. Why is it in this day & age it takes something like that to make you believe something actually happened, yet at the same time you push it aside.

My first memory of Robin Williams was as Mork from Mork & mindy "Nanu nanu!" I can't tell you anything specific other than that multi color coat (that looked like it would be best used as a pillow and let's not forget what to me made suspenders ... Or as I called them when I was little "septembers' famous! Misses Doubtfire is another one of my favorite characters of his, & though I don't remember the name of the movie or character (not sure if I even saw the whole movie) but just the idea at least of him playing a doctor for kids as a clown I thik it was. (I think it just came to me, was that called Patch Williams? )

As everyone has been saying they are grief striken & such and have a heavy heart.. I too as well as he is one of the first actors let alone comediens I can remember watching since I started watching tv!

There's a storm coming tomorrow night, so all those rain drops are our tears that evaporated & will now fall from the clouds for him!

R.I.P.
Robin Williams
Comedian, actor, Role Model, & so much more

On a lighter note... Sharknado 2!~  debuted to 3.9 Million viewers!   more stupid than the first but still fun & a 3rd one is on for 2015!  I hope it's in Massachusets (Boston Maybe) as hey! California & NY always get hit by the natural disasters, aliens & terrorists in movies! How about trying other major cities Boston comes to mid.. or for camp factor make it salem Mass & have the witches be the one who start the sharknado or at least stop it. What about one in Canada or Europe, or one of the brit countries? Oh more fun How about some hot Aussies? Oh wait then the movie would be over in 5 minutes with those beefcakes!

For those of you that do not yet know.. Doctor Who- (with the Newest Whovian) will start its new season with Peter Capaldi on August 23 with the Intruders to follow

Wednesday 13- I've written a few things on this site
http://www.bubblews.com/account/369817-zodiacimmortal
(as squidoo doesn't seem to be helping much in way of loyalties (which weren't much in the first place but this new place dependis on how many clicks for linkes, comments views etc I get.) So please checko ut my pages like them etc

Thursday 14- UGH... couldn'
couldn't fall asleep then when I finally did kept waking up!

Friday 15- FInally can watch the new Godsmack 1000hp Video --> http://vevo.ly/aarCkA

So once I finished check email or whatever today I found out
I have to back up EVERYTHING I've ever written on Squidoo as some of the best pages are going to another site & I think as of Oct Squidoo will no longer exist. I think I'm about half way through the pages I have to back up as I have printed out the list of what I've written, and have been able to back up over 100 so far now this needs to be finished by friday (I pref. sooner but I just need to be sure its the important stuff that has alot of info on it & things like that. Esp. maybe I can make some of them in the blog (or their own seerate page.)  So I started  to do so tonight & wil l have to get up hopefully a reasonable time tomorrow (sets internal clock for no later than 9 or 10)  to make a big dent.

Bubbling storms Wed 23- August 4

oops I have been trying to come up with ideas for so many things I forgot to start a new blog for the week; not that  there's anything really to 'write home about'  Though yesterday (July 23rd) there was a wasp on the outside of the screen and it was moving it's butt. It looked kinda funny so I joked that the wasp was twerking!

So I've been a bit forgetful in some things I've been wanting to get to do, or maybe it's just trying to juggle it all!

I posted The 2nd part the last time, & now I have come across part 1

I finished reading that Jill Churchill book I'm planning to read
I do still need to post pics for previous entries here.
I have a page I almost forgot to mention https://www.pheed.com/kymoDragon
so far it's only 3 Videos from my Youtube account but if I can remember I will try my best to post some form of somethings to that. I jsut need to figure out that Live broadcast thing.

So now I notice I am not too late in starting this one  as the last day of the previous was the last noted.

I forget where I saw it. Maybe on the live well network how to fix your broken make up powders eyeshadows etc. also how to make your own gel eyeshadow as well as BB Cream!

Thursday 24- made up a new word.. That's 'Disfusting '  Basically meaning F-n Discusting, or Dis F'n custing

Wastched a movie called 13 Sins (I'm still not sure if I'm going to post reviews here or if I'm going to keep up with it on Movie-mania  I just can't post it to both or the squidoo site will lock the page.
But in Short it's one of those sick 'Game' movies where the for lack of a better term Victim gets a mysterious phone call and is set out to do crimes for money.

Friday 25- So I wanted to get to the movies before my Groupon Offer expired. I just had to pay $4 & I could see a movie that was up to $12 (which inlcuded the service fee when I checked out!!) So I saw an opening day matinee of LUCY at the alamo Draft House $6.50 for a BOWL of popcorn but WAIT... FREE REFILLs though sadly I wasn't even able to finish it alone. SO that's great if yu have a few friends or family members with you. s for the movie itself. To me it';s like a rip off of Bradley Coopers Limitless but on steroids that's mixed with either Crack or acid (maybe both) but that likeness isn't far from the truth as she ends up (unwillingly) with a WHOLE heep of a drug (kilos) surgically implanted in her body.

I thought of a Quote (don't know if anyone has said it before & if Not YEAH!!!!)

"The Journey is worth a thousand Treasures" by ME!!!! (as far as I know!!)

Saturday 26-   Happy National Dance Day

The Gang from Dance With me Studios, the likes of Tony Dovalani, & The Chmerkovskiys, some friends and possibly students

Hung out & OMG there's old Batman episodes on (well it is the 75th aniniversary  anyway) IFC after that watch a concert video Rockin the Corps; An AMerican Thank you. Godsmack, Teg Nugent (then they did a song or 2 together as well) Destiny's CHild, Celebrities INtroduced the acts & KISS wrapped it all up!

FOund some previews for Fall TV shows SO you can find those & more HEre at Generally Talking Telly

Sunday 27- well all I know so far (as of Saturday) is that there;s a Race on.. So if Not Saturday then Today I will Start Wicked Business.
- Grrr Jeff Gordon Won, and really didn't do much check tweets & a little email rellyquick before my shows came on read for awhile
UPdated & added more previews &  premire dates to Generally Talking Telly

Monday  28-  So feeling really blah. prob. between PMS & the weather.
Working a bit on adding more premires to the TV page .

Need to get to working on my painting again, & worked on a pair of earrings for myself last night, and designed another.

 7-beauty-lessons-jem-holograms/#.

Tuesday 29- Ugh woke too early, not even sure if I slept much.
Maks & Val chmerkovskoy were on the View today they were so messing with maks about the Jlo rumor.  Also I thought you might be interested in something creativbe for the home turn a card-catalog- into a credenza

So it's afternoon and now I really feel tired so I'm going to go lay down a bit. Ugh oh.. PMS time...
So I'm back, still feeling tired but can't fall asleep, only was able to rest my eyes a bit (but not enough)

Ooh so let me go get my camera to post some of these back pictures I didn't get to for a couple of weeks.

I forget what day it was (over the weekend I think)  but my Aunt who I was house sitting for, likes to collect sea glass so I finshed something with a jar & made this for her. The tag on the jar with the ribbon. I hope I'll be able to give it to her tomorrow.

So I did try to post the pics but sadly for some reason It still doesn't want to work for me, yet it posted the one above? Go freaking Figure! grrrr (Damn Evil Computer! Life would be so much better if we never had computers etc. & poele wouldn't be so damn dumb! inconsiderate & rude!)

worked on my volcano painting a bit. I kept hesitating to do so as I didn't want to mess it up but to me I did! I had yet to finish it as I didn't want it to just look like a mountain and well now I have a little bit of ash cloud coverage of varying degrees and one side blackened so I just need to add some lava flow here & there.

Wed 30- Yesterday My Aunt Pam asked my mom out to go to Cheesecake Factory today in Ridge Hill (as an anniversary present)

Today she came over & I gave her the Jar with the tag I made for her (for her seaglass) . She thought it was cute.

So  I got to go to lunch with them as well. Man I shouldn't have even ordered lunch, well I shoud say I shouldn't have ordered lunch when I saw the  "National Cheesecake Day 1/2 off on  any slice of cheesecake" Oh boy! I thought they were going to be small slices but damn! they were still huge! I could eat one slace for 3-4 days of dessert!
After that they sat outside & let me walk down to where the multiplex was as there;s a goodie shoppe there I was hoping would have that red string licorice but sadly no. On the way back I stopped in this 'Charming Charlies' store (kept seeing everyone with the bags & wondered what it was) well it's got Lots of jewlery as well as purses and at affordable prices, but some of the stuff although affordable I didn't think was worth. I don't think I saw anything there over $20 (but that's as far as a small purse I looked at an a few bracelets, earrings etc.  They also have a rewards program so I might sign up in case I get over that way again!

I've 'finshed' my newest-whovian - Doctor Who page

So Sharknado 2: The second one is on tonight. It blew up twitter last year and this year I'm guessing so as well. So last year when they decided they were going to do a sequal they had a repeat telecast & posted tweets of our title ideas! one of mine i saw actually made it on screen but I only saw my twitter handle!!! (How cool is that?) Anyway These are the titles I came up with

  • The Sharkchew of Liberty
  • 40 Sharkened Street
  • E. (East) Atlantic Mayhem
  • Upper East Shark
  • Sharkpire State building
  • Shark Towers
So if you watch it I think anyone of them would have been better than "the 2nd one but i know they were going for cheese & I thught mine were!~
another title that came to me while watching

Final Sharknation (like Final Destination)
or as I posted to twitter..... first 20 minutes literally ROTF LMAO!!! cool cameos 2!

so will there be a third because the 2nd I think may have outdone the first in lots a ways.
I say do it in Boston... when was a disaster film done there? Come on they are ALWAYS in NY or California right? So can we start messing with other cities besides you can't get moire annoying & cheesier than a boston accent (& well after NY You just have to take the heads ff of some Red Sox fans! But I think in this case make it Hockey, (Hockey stick = better weapon than a baseball bat! & WHy???
  1.  you CAN use it as a bat
  2.  you can shave part of the blade (that the puck is shot with) to make it more like a scythe (ya know that of which the grim reaper carries around & farmers (or in olden times) cut down harvests with.
  3. You can use the butt (handle) basically as an elbow
  4. if you are really creative you can turn it into a nunchuck  with a bit of inginuity '
(*sorry for any misspellings it's late at night & I didn't sleep well)

OMG it has been trending as well as alot of the actors' names that starred in it!
let's not forget the chainsaw is now a new thing even though Bruce Campbell started it with Evil Dead and well for those who know what Atari is (was) There's a Frogger reference  & let's not forget a certain phrase That Fonzie & Happy Days started!  as cheesey, 'awful' & all that this is purposely made to be... I think I would rather pay for this in the theater than some so called "blockbusters'

My question is, is there going to be shark runs in NYC like there are Zombie Marathons (Which were sort of started because the walking dead.. I just can't remember where it's held though)
