December Movies

Snow Piercer - starring Chris Evans as the hero (why not wear the Captain america garb for this bleak dystopian train movie. Because of global warming a rocket is launched (I forget with what ) but it's supposed to lower the temperature, which worked all too well and now the last survivors of earth live on a train. Chris' character leads a revolution as tailies, and lowest class citizens of the train. The action is cool fast and tho it's on one train  they have to get through the entire train which is definitely more than 20 cars  maybe even more than 50. I'd estimate at least 100!  This I think was an indy film, but still haven't we had enough of the end of the world crap yet? I have; however this was a bit of a new twist for it for me. B

Stephen King's IT- I feel like I've been duped. Is there another part to this? All this is is all build up and then that last scene!? NOT SCARY. It's like someone didn't come up with an ending.I sthis how the book ended as well? D

Malficent- I enjoyed this movie, and it brought to life all the parts I remember from the copy of  my book of Sleeping Beauty, only the dragon wasn't black and purple and didn't have that narrow head. This one was more fierce and scary but that's the way a dragon should look.  There is a part or 2  I was disappointed with, and Angie played the dairy Malficent well.  C

Guardians of the Galaxy-
I missed a bit but it was quite action packed. Some bits from the trailer are still funny. I think I actually liked Batista's character in this. On First watch  B+

Blended- well that's a whole new meaning for 'Gel-in. "Monsteration' had already watched the movie but watched a 2nd time and the jokes are still funny. Wow a  Rom-Com that's  actually funny. Also not too mushy (well except for the ...what do you call a male 'cougar')  The family can watch. B for best I've seen in a long time!

The Grand Seduction - (sounds like it should have a title like the Long con or one of the ones the show Leverage used to use.  stars Brendan Gleeson & Taylor Kitsch. The small town of (did I hear right?) Tickle's fishing jobs have washed up and are trying to get a factory. For this they need a permanent resident doctor. So they put up a charade to woo Kitsch's Dr. Paul  to stay. They manufacture quite  a few ways to get him to like the small 'Harbor' (town). They listen in on his conversations so they can find out what he likes and such (smal towns may be worse than big cities!)    C

The Hobbit Review
Well 'The Battle of five armies' couldn't have been a better title. I think that was most of the movie. I do however need a family tree for the elves & dwarves why because I want to know if Ironfoot (who has quite the hard head) is related to Gimli, or did Kili & Thuriel (sp?) explore their feelings for each other?   As for the last issue of Entertainment weekly I read with Stephen Colbert on it (did you know he was in the Desolation of Smaug with his wife & kids as a few citizens of Lake town?) They mention previous history mentioned in the Lord of the Rings films that i don't remember being in the Hobbit, as well as history mentioned in the Hobbit that we don't get to see (say a few tidbits about our fave Fair haired elf), why stop & 2 sets of movies, how about another set where we can explore that of which we don't get to see. (also where are all the women dwarves?)
I think at least half the  2 1/2 hour film was the battle from various sides. I enjoyed it, and  don't worry as you are not watching a cluster F**** of bodies just wailing on each other. There are some one on one fights and so on. I was quite amused at the 'ice fight' between Thorn & ugh what's the name of the ork thing (?) with the missing arm.  There were at least 2 times I got a bit upset that I almost (or may have) shed a tear.  I still say something is off with the Legolas costume or make-up in this. Yes I know they probably made him look younger (if that was possible) but I'll have to watch at least one of the LOTR movies to figure it out (Maybe the color of the contacts is wrong).  I haven't read the books so I can't make a comparison and frankly I think I'd rather wait, there have been some movies I've liked better than the book. I think the best book to movies series besides the Lord of the Rings & Hobbit (but remember I have not read, but I don't hear much complaining either for those who have)  is Harry Potter. Thanks to the Return of the King I think I was left feeling empty being as there is just one ending not many here. It's starts as one ends & ends as one starts! Which I think is pretty cool. I think another reason I might be a bit disappointed is aside from one or 2 shots, I didn't get my wish of seeing Bard & Legolas side by side fighting. (Though we do get to see Luke Evans quite a bit. Would you believe for a time (when he wasn't as known)  I thought he was Orlando Bloom. There were a few movies Luke was in that I thought it was Orly! One in which was 3 Musketeers which Orlando bloom plays a villian and Luke one of the Musketeers!)     A
OH my that Ork I can't remember the name of is freaking Manu Bennett aka Deathstroke on Arrow!

Outpost 3- Not sure why I watched this when I didn't like the first one, and never watched the second. I must be really desperate for some visual entertainment that being it's December, all the tv series are on hiatus. Just as I did with the first I lost interest after awhile. I think I got it for dad, as I think he liked the original. Nazi Zombies only this series is definitely no Dead Snow nor is the make-up Walking Dead grade. Though for some reason like the term 'Fairy Vampire' just sounding so silly and still gives me a laugh every time I hear it, Nazi Zombies is a close  2nd but the movie all D

The Appearing- a couple loses their daughter and move. On their first day there a teen goes missing and  the husband a cop has to go to work. The teen's boyfriend is beyond traumatized and I think was in the nut house instead of jail. The woman whose child died is seeing a little girl that might not really be there.  Is it a ghost story?  Nope it's yet another possession  movie and not a good one either D

Pontypol - That was somewhat cool in a way, even though it was sort of like phone booth (I didn't like that movie)  only this was based in a raio station in the town of Pontypol Ontario and a disease spreads but cannot be cured with a drug. You don't see anything of what goes on outside and I start thinking that maybe this is going to end up being a War of the Worlds radio broadcast type hoax at the end, and it all happens on a very snowy day. I enjoyed the suspense and the original idea on how the virus spreads, so for that B

The Ouija Experiment-  not to be confused with the 2014 release of Ouija  (which I may have done). FOur people sit down to use the ouija Board to see if it will work. One friend, films the event and Mike, whose 'brilliant' (note sarcasm) idea  this is tells them the rules (well 3 of them)  They are even corrected by a friend of the cameraman's That you DO NOT 'PLAY' with the board. If you and especially the spirit do not say good-bye  you have left a portal open for all types of spirits (good and evil) to get through . Wasn't bad, and has been done before but a good scare if you have a sleepover party   C

The November Man- 1 hr 45 minutes Action packed and wonder why Pierce Bronson is no longer Bond. (Guess they couldn't afford him anymore) He's still handsome and suave looking. Go figure maybe he got bored with the role.  I don't recall a dull moment  in this film . The guy that plays his partner in the beginning will be playing Johnny Utah in the Point Break remake (or was it sequel , well whatever it is, either way yet another yummy Aussie  has come to play. WHere HAVE all the american action actors gone? Not that I'm complaining but it seems all the Aussies & Brits are getting those lately and P.s. I don't count The Rock, or Batista as actors they're posers to me)  Anyway it's a B

Wed 5th

This is cute, my Fri end Helen posted it

Went to my old Job @ Torre Lumber to visit as new owners will be taking over sooner or later and wanted to visit my Pepper cat (she was supposed to keep the mice away, though she did get to spend a long weekend with us at my house when she first showed up) Not sure if hey'll keep her, and now she knows something is up as she's pissing all over I'm told which means she's marking her territory. Went went to visit my Nana didn't stay long as there was construction around the area. Found a few books that looked interesting in the bookcases in the lobby.  Posted a few letters and went to Cablevision to exchange our old boxes for the hd ones. Got home tried to hook mom's up wouldn't co-operate.. (not sure which I did next) and it was just yesterday! But I either took a nap or tried to hook mine up... But I think I took the nap as I thought maybe I'm jsut too tired to deal and figure things out so I went to rest. Got up and I think we had dinner first then i worked on mom's tv/cable again and still woulnd't go right so I tried to hook mine up... went quite smoothly. Tried mom's again still not going call cable, and the guy is trying to help, but nothing I didn't o already! Then I notice it... the wrong wire is plugged in, I have no idea where it even came from but finally it worked and all is well!

Thurs 6

Go to hook up dvd player to my tv (as the cable wire hooks into same spot that the dvd one did (at least on the old tv..)  So for some reason it didn't work when I first did, so I'm trying to sort out the wires and what they go to dvd, vcr or cable box etc as well as get them untangled. Finally I get it, & ended up having to do the same changing it back to cable but being as I had not experimented yet with figuring out how to hook everything else directly to the new tv I did now and  I was able to get rid of the darn RF modulator (don't even ask me WTF that was for but I think it was so you could plug multiple components into one tv  if it only had 1 antennae wire)

Friday - had the hearing today and we got through I guess most of it but sadly they did not have all the records from my file at the mental health clinic. SO I have to go back for a 3rd time grrr and I  was in so much pain yesterday sitting there. On the way home mom & I had to stop into P.C> Richards to see if we could find a new toaster oven we found one but sadly they didn't have it in stock but will be in on monday. So we'll be able to make hotdogs toast etc again. (I'm starving... and I now realize most of my cooking if not in a frying pan is in that oven!

Saturday
for 'CAT'urday  I give you some animal links to put a smile on your face (and one is already on theirs!)

Sunday   ::::: SCREAMS in Victory!!:::::    Harvick WINS makes it into Championship round  which includes Logano, Newman & Hamlin which by my prediction.. will come down to Harvick or Logano... (at least as far as by races won)

So it's now monday and I'm juggling trying trying to go through email, tweets, writing this, need to finish a write up for one of the halloween posts, write a couple of reviews  and a handwritten letter to my pal Helen in England.

October 13- 19

Tuesday 14- So I went to see Dracula Untold (just had to esp. with Luke Evans as the lead! grrrowl!)
Not sure if I like him better as a good guy or bad guy but damn he's AWESOME & scary as the bad guy in No One Lives! It wasn't bad I think Entertainment weekly gave it a C and I a C+ as the action is great never a dull moment in this. After Dracula I sneaked in to see Annabelle which really isn't all that scary aside from that doll! Although like in Insidious there is a few blink & you miss it Demon shots Read the reviews here

Wed 15- Had appt. and on the way back to meet my mother the thing for those with walkers & wheelchairs wouldn't go back in place so a lot of people got stuck. My friend in Hull England posted a bunch of stuff here's some of the highlights from her twitter

Saturday - Went to Connecticut to visit a family friend (Rosemarie) she lives at her daughter Lisa's who has a birthday today!  when we get there Christine is home & let's us in I go to look out the back door & get scared! Grey cat is hanging on the the screen door at face level! I think he registered as a giant spider! I did actually scream! So for once someone gave me a scare in October! We only went to the Dollar stoe & the thrift store next store. I got a few books One is on dreams, another is The American girls guide (has how to make a hammock, sewing, painting & a bunch of other assorted things. Came across a Janet Evanovich book I had not heard of Metro Girl, & I got the Ultimate Dracula book it's a celebration of the novel and is an anthology of 'short' stories

September Movie Reviews

Bad Words-  Rated R stars jason Bateman as a 40 year old named Guy with no High School education. Finding a loophole in the rules for Spelling bees that makes him eligible he sets his sights on winning with a reporter in tow trying to find out what his motivation is.
My favorite part is the 'guys night'  When Bateman isn't spouting profanity laced insults or said favorite part.. the movie gets boring. Well (well that came out of left field Laughs)  that was a unexpected! (can't tell ya it's at the end!)  C

Need For Speed- Wow there's some wicked F'n cool cars in this. Something that sounds like its called an Auger (or something like that) Forget about Messin with Sasquach I nearly fell off the couch laughing at the 'exit strategy'  from the rest stop (& I don't mean the fancy footwork) This was a fun movie. And I swear they actually had sets of building etc from the game. There was a few spot I swear I do remember from the game when I've played. B

Pure Country 2: The Gift- Not my thing Only rented it because Travis Fimmel is in it. The storyline seems like a movie made for Lifetime or Hallmark channels, and just as thin. At least the acting is a bit better than those. D

Afflicted- So I thought this was just going to be some weird tourist meet cannibals movie or something like that. Nope, but it will teach you not to bring strangers back to  your room or go to theirs. Sort of Hostel meets (oh what's the name of the movie) Touristas I think..(Checks IMDB not the right title I thought, and I can't think of the name) whatever  it is  they go away and they whole party was kidnapped  and (or) Killed  one by one. I'll just say Derrick  starts acting weird after a night in Paris. Sleeping too long, not eating much if at all as for Originality I'd give it a 3 out of 5 as it's been done before but in a way, has it's own spin even if that's just an amaglomation of a few different types of movies in one. Not quite found footage but documenting everything for ther travel website, Vacation gone arway. As far as I feel about it C-  nice effort but to me some parts seem amature, and maybe a little rip off. One Derrick is fully afflicted it reminded me of a commercial for a video game One of the horror ones, Left for Dead comes to mind though. The part where you see him on the floor and looks up with the eyes (you'll know what I mean when you see it)  I swear is a full on rip off of the scene I thought of in that commercial.  C-

Cemetery Junction - 1 1/2 hours english comedy starring Christian Cooke & Ricky Gervais Directed by Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant
Well it's a bit depressing in ways, bland in the marries and take your spouce for granted sort of way, + wanting to get away from your crappy little town to be and do something. C

Only Lovers Left Alive- 2 hours long  Looking for action? don't bother! This stars Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton & Co-starring John Hurt. Tom plays Adam a musician & vampire;  who is depressed with the world of humans, who in some way have become tainted (not sure if they ever explained it). For some reason the vampires call humans zombies in this (how insulting yet at the same time I get the metaphor). Adam has a 'zombie' named Ian who helps him acquire antique guitars and other things for his music. Ian seemed very familiar but whoever the actor, is desguised well, however sounded very familiar and some movements etc. after awhile I thought wait that sounds like Anton Yelchin and some of his other 'tells' I noticed as well. Whadda ya know, I was right it is him. So anyway, Adam's wife for centuries, Eve  comes to to help him get out of his funk. Her sis Ava stops by for a visit and there's much hostility on Adam's part toward her, and messes things up for Adam. Don't be tired when you watch this. Not sure how I got through it (maybe my love of all things vampire? Or the facts 'Loki' has grown a set of fangs? Yeh I think that's it. THe rocker look I think suit Tom well. beyond that  It's a toss up. It's kind of artsy I guess in way so I'm not sure how to grade this. I'll go with at least a C because some may hate it & others will love it I'm a bit of both.

Homefront- starring Jason Statham, winona Ryder, James Franco & Kate Bosworth who at first is so unreconizeable! While undercover Phil Broker has infultrated a Motorcycle club and takes down a heroine house. He retires to (somewhere in) Louisianna with his daughter. The daughter is getting bullied and that's when all the story beings to pick up.The town shoud jsut because Bully'anna.  As an actor I don't like Franco but I think this was a better suited role for him. He is quite nuts in it, but then again that's what happens when you juice on your own stuff. I didn't get that wooden feeling from him in this. I almost didn't reconize Kate Bosworth or Winona Ryder but Kate well looked just like any other white trash druggy. All in all Broker ends up repeating history. One thing I'll say /....Cool exlosion ....C

The Dead Matter- Gretchen finds an amulet that brings back & controlls the dead. Some ancient vampire is trying to get his mitts on it. Not original, tho Tom Savini (yeah the same gu from Dusk til Dawn w/ the crotch gun)  in this he plays a vampire that to me seems to be a mobster. Oneo f the characters makes diet drugs which you don't find out the point of  what this diet drug has to do in the movie until the end! (Which was a sort of unexpected twist)  D

The Quiet ones-  Says its inspired by actual events
Some sort of class (Paranormal Sciences?) at Oxford in 1974 at Oxford   are doing a study to (I think) somehow prove the spirit world exists.   I had to watch awhile to find out what the actual project was. The project is to cure Jane of what they think is a psychosis. The movie feels long when it's not, it's only like an hour and a half (maybe a little more running time without the credits). Ok I oddly didn't see that twist coming so bonus points there. There were a few scenes I thought could have been edited out & would still have told the story well, and makes me wonder what did end up on the cutting room floor! It's a toss up D or C

The Adventurer: Curse of the Midas box- Well that was more lively than the other movie I watched last night.  Ioan Gruffudd (sp?) is in it, oh for only a bit in the beginning & end. In this the Midas 'curse' is not that everything you touch turns to gold. It's a box thought that anything that's put in it is supposed to turn to gold; however when an amulet is put on top of it it turns into a weird sort of gun. That's blasts soemthing like a laser beam. It was alright there is another one so I might get that as well..

X-men: Days of Future Past- fave quote (or sort of) Wolverine to (well in human form) Beast  (well basically) We're Good Friend (in the future) ::Then punches him::  I wish Colassus would get more time in these movies, he's always in the back drop, when he should be a main character (so under used).  I mean he's been in 2-3 X-men movies now, yet doesn't get some sort of sub-plot but yet we are introduced to Quicksilver (played by Evan Peters from American horror Story)  in this. The character  will have a different face when he shows up in Avengers 2: The Age of Ultron (which I swear my mouth keeps trying to say Voltron!). All I'll say is the actor is 'Kick-ass'. There's a few laughs and  just enough action to be satisfied. There's soemthing that disappointed me but I can't put my finger on it.  I'm not sur eif it was the plot but it felt something was lacking.  C

Salem's Lot- (2004) Stars Rob Lowe

Under the Fireworks June 30 (evening) - July 6

Under the dome  character connections They are connected how, why & still what's up with the dome?  (when I first saw it.. it reminded me of a snow globe I had. well It was more of a dome than a whole globe which I would LOVE one of Downtown Toronto but I don't think I have anywhere to put it. (need a small one for my Hutch)    Wow that was an impressive start to season 2

Tuesday July 1
WOW! that was an explosive opening (not leterally tho) but definately left an impression, as well as the ending of the pilot.
Here's a money saving site I'd like to share with you  Budget101.com banana-bites

to all of my northern Neighbors & any 'adopted' Canadians

Wednesday 2  Not much Up.. put a few more things together for hanging at my aunt's house
some entertainment, food & whatever else I think of. My back is still bothering me as well my hip. No idea how I'm gong to be able to walk the dog etc.
When I got up today I didn't feel like I slept at all, I don't remember much but I do remember finally reading & making a dent in my book. Fell asleep when I woke up I felt a bit better, but my back etc still a problem

Thursday 3   So today I atleast feel like I slept, sadly the back doesn't feel as good. I just want my 'normal  pain' (that I constantly feel but doesn't feel lijke I have needles in my thigh, my left hip & as if my spine is cemented in place.

Friday 4                       Hope you have a Happy Independence Day
didn't do much of anything just hung out in my room & watched a few movies. I even watched avengers again while trying to fix one of my nails. (it's broken in a  bad spot, that I can't just cut it off needs to be glued & all that)  my back still hurts & my right thigh as well. I'm not thrilled with the 4th but then again I did get hit with a bottle rocket when I was a kid  at our 'cousins' part  basically family reunion on dad's side) Well it was aimed away from all of us but after it took off, turned around & hit my cousin David & me. So likely if there's any form of fireworks around I know how the pets feel and I'm not impressed however This I can appreciate
Fireworks like you've never seen them before!

ok so the darn video didn't want to post for some reason, so I included the link instead

Movie Reviews - August

Open Grave- Sharlto Copley  (district 9) wakes  up in a mass grave with no memory of who he is. There are others he comes to find with the same dilema; or shall I say affliction?
They're on property that as they find buildings and such, looks to me like some sort of camp (let's hope not Crystal Lake). They have flashes of who they are (once were) or what happened to them, as they come across dead bodies around the property among other surprises. Maybe it's some sort of asylum or sc ience experiment Interesting psycho thriller.. WORTH A WATCH

Grand Budapest Hotel- I'm not sure how to explain this movie. I thought it was a comedy which there are some some funny parts but maybe also a mystery caper of sort. I woulnd't say it was bad nor good. I'm pretty much baffled by it in a way. (I think this was 2 or more hours)  TOSS UP

Banshee Chapter-  1 hour & 27  minutes running time
This is a tgrue story of a journalist  who in vestigates a friend's death which leads to a trail of government cover ups. I think the guy that plays James (the friend who goes missing) played Steve Newlin in True Blood. The Trippy hippy author oh & add paranoid to that has some chemical the (I think it was) CIA was working with.  Other than mystery not sure what other genre to describe this as. About half way through the movie I started to do my nails while watching so i guess it gets a bit weird that I lost a bit of interest. D+

Godzilla (2014) - I wanted to see this in the theater so bad! For some reason I just couldn't. The times were too late or whatever the case, finally I get to see it but I'm glad I didn't ahve to pay to see it in the theater. I heard it was bad but I never listen to the reviews from tv news (there's only one place I listen to the reviews or shall I say read and take heed that is Entertainment weekly. Usually if I see a movie before the review comes out from them I'm usually on par with the grade they give.
I remember something on the news when the movie came out that the Japanese said Godzilla looks fat.... I thought maybe it would turn out the be jsut that one angel in the movie trailer but....YEP no matter what angle its at, it still looks fat. There's some other monster, though I'm not sure what kind it looks like a bug to me, at first i thought a praying mantis then I thought a pterdactyl but at times to me it also sounds sort of machanical so I gave up on trying to figure it out.
An hour and thirty minutes into the movie and I'm SILL loving Pacific Rim more! (A big razberry to the lot of ya that don't like it!)  This ozilla just isn't intense and dramatic enough though 'Zilla is a good catch! The creature's 'beak' looks like a staple remover not to mention more a mechanical block head (mm is it a transformer in disguise?) than our beefier Godzilla. When he first shows up your just like oh Humm.. plus he doesn't quite have that well known Godzill Pitch (to his roar)  It's there but there's a few keys (high pitch) missing to it compared to the old ones. (I mean even the late 90s early 2000s one I think had the right pitch (or at least alot closer than this one) definately Lack Luster! D

Supercross -2005 PG-13 1:32 min running time
a Pair of brothers are motor Cross drivers by night & pool boys by day  when Trip (Mike Vogel) gets a chance at the big time and bites it his brother Kasey (Steve Howley) carries on  as the brawn for the team. Arron Carter is also in it, and Channing Tatum plays pro racer Rowdy the pro Kasy protects.

Divergent-  I'm sick of all the YA books becoming movies, sadly none of the books I'd like to see as a movie (or even tv series) likely won't happen.  I haven't read the books, so I have no idea on comparing tham (which may be a good thing). This was an enjoyable movie. It didn't feel 'teen' to me. I enjoyed the action and story and frankly would see the sequel. B

Enemy- Jake Gyllanhall stars. His character goes about his life and after watching a movie notices that there's someone that looks like him, Identically! I skipped a bit here & there then I just sopped. The 1st 45 minuts just may as well watch paint dry  F

Spliced-(2002)  I've seen this before, possibly under an different title.  No it's not the Adrian brody movie. It has Drew Lachey from 98 degrees in it! The girl I think was having nightmares or sleep walking. She sees some movie called The Wisher and gets really paranoid about it. SHe thinks someone is following her and granting her wishes in a wicked way.  D

BEAST- Tv series starring Patrick Swayze & Travis Fimmel (Vikings)
So far I've only seen the first disk (4 episodes I think) They play FBI agents & Travis' character (Not sure if I heard right but I think his name is)  Dove   (intersting name)  seems to get picked on a bit. Not sure if I like it enough but there's only 2 more disks to watch so why not, plus I LOVE Travis.
So the show is compelling and I am hooked. Something is up with Swayze's character that there are agents trying to get 'Dove' to spy on him for them and well I think that mystery part is what hooked me.

Transcendence- Ok if only I could see a day where people start using their computers laptops and other electronics for door stops!~ Neat healing trick when hooked up to a network! Will in the computer tries to help heal the earth and make all the water pure and such. How far is too far when it comes to advanced technology? I think one reason people didn't like the movie (or so I heard) was because maybe it scared them, or at least made them think. I thought themovie could have been better.

Rio 2-  Wow Nice & colorful the best way to see this one is on the HD tv with Blu-ray!@ here's a bit of music numbers (I don't remember that from the first)  I did like the way they wrote the  "I will survive' parody number. THe dance in when the get to the rainforest . At times to me it was a cartoon version of Avatar just with birds. C-

Freezer- starring Dylan McDermott as Robert who wakes up in  a freezer on his birthday. Peter Facinelli plays undercover cop (or so he says) Sam who looking in the shape he's in, isn't going to last long. I don't really care for movies that take place in one location (ie: Phonebooth)  through the whole thing (or so far seems) it's just boring.  Though this so far stays in the one location tit's a mystery and that is what has me hooked (that and maybe the Russian lesson) and pushing me on. THe movie is in english but the Russian mafia is involved in the story line which I think there was a hole or 2 bu I could have just missed something. Oh well that was a twist I didn't see coming! C+

Expendables 3-     So I think they are in Russia to start things off on a retrieval (rescue?) mission. Snipes character mentions the reason he was put away... breaking the 4th wall with that one! & we have art imitating true life! Some good jokes and a few that felt forced. Antonio Banderas  is apparently the yappy mascot and around for a little more comedic relief. I think this is a sort of passing of the torch for the younger actors in this (who the only one I have a clue about is Kellan Lutz) but the spanish guy looks familiar.  Honestly I wish they would have had Vinny Jones & Kevin Durand in an instalment of the movie.  I thi nk this was made just to close out the series. Plenty of action but well... D

What's all The hullabaloo August 21 -29

So since friday  the 15th (it's the 21st today) I have been backing up all my squidoo pages by hand.  By that I mean going on each page & saving everything on it including the pics, not the export way they have it on the site. (The stupid thing wouldn't work for me).
So now I am trying to figure out where to put my 'orphan' pages that 'were' on squidoo (they are still there for the time being until October then the site will cese to exist.

Now that- that is all finished I have transferred to Hubpages but I'm not planing on posting all my pages to that site, some may show up on there as squidoo said some of the best squid pages will be transferred there.

Friday 22- Went out with John again no one showed so we went to where Dana (we met last friday) was working and hung out there a bit. After that we went to Brewski's like the bar but not how loud it is. Then slept over and I think I get motion sickness from his bed. Every time you move you feel it. So again I didn't sleep well. I better be able to in the Hotel this weekend in Long Island (i think or is it NJ,  I forget)

At least I'll get my tan (hopefully) the end of the summer & will hopefuylly last longer

Saturday 23 - came home early again I just can't sit around in a bed (if it's not mine lol or at least if I'm not reading but certainly not when every time someone moves you do as well. So I had about enough)  This sleeping over shit may have to end for a bit!

Saunday 24- at some point I started to have an anxiety attack. Not severe but not really minor either. I t hink between John asking me if I'm happy, how I feel about him & all that I think it's beacsue of that. I don't know what to do & no idea if I'm hapy even when I may be happy. usually I just feel indifferent if I'm not laughing (which is the only time I could say I might be happy)  at something.

Monday 25- mom & I went out to Kohl's she got me a couple new pieces of clothes. We had lunch at Five Guys & I got a milkshake.. what kind?  a Peanut Butter banana Oreo one (tasted mostly like peanut butter then after a bit with oreo chuinck & cream in it!never tasted any banana. Stopped at Joann's as I've been eyeing a storage thing for some of my jewlery making stuff I figured it would be easier to show what I have when I visit fam so I know what they would like soemthing made out of. So that's with a bit of money left from birthday or holidays from some past year.  GOt my stuff together for this weekend.

Tuesday 26- awww Sully came in my room while dad was up & gave me lots of hugs, and cuddled up with me. I felt so queasy & tired. I freaking hate PMS! So I am mostly packed for the weekend, then I call John to see when we are supposd to be leaving to go, not answering. Ok so I think maybe he's in a meeting.  He texts back that he thinks I'm not happy (I never said I wasn't, but I haven't been feeling well) and he doesn't think it's working out. Well at least it's only 2 weeks! And now I don't have to spend my money! Yet he's the one all "How do you feel;  Do I make you happy" He's sounds more like what guys say us girls sound like, so fine!~ Mom was nice to treat me to a couple new tops & a pair of new shorts for the trip so thank you! And the shirt and the shorts look so CUTE/Sexy!! I'm wearing one of them out this week, I have decided (well whenever I go out.) Also I'm not letting him ruin my weekend. I think I'll treat myself to going to the pool in the park near me. just not sure if I HAVE to have a park pass or not.

Horror making it's own version of Expendables -with-the-survivors/

So now I can just do my usual and not worry about drama & 'begging' for how I feel.

I can't get the stupid sd card to work in the computer so here's a link to the baby shower, I hope it works Pics from the baby shower

Thursday 28-  So mom & I went out today as we got Kohl's cash & there were a pair of earrings I liked the last time I was there, it was an owl but the kind you can pose (sort of.. it's jointed I guess you could say)
So yeah! I found them, and they had tiny earrings mom pointed out so I got a pair of skull ones for my top piercing in my right ear.

We also went to the dollar store, yeah I got a planner for 2015 (well its for my desk anyway as I already have one for my purse)

We also went to Nathan's my fave fries!!

Ooh I don't play the game but I am dying for the movie world of warcraft to come out. (or I think they are just calling it warcraft) and finally some form of news.. (I just wish we cold get some sort of sneak peak in the form of a still shot. even if it's just a landscape.

I am all out of wack with having to change over & what sites I want to post on. Some may be better than others for certain topics I've written on so I have to figure that out. Word Press I'm not yet familiar with but I will learn as I go along. Wish me luck. (I also have posted the Talking Telley with what I have collected of the new fall skedule so far)

I am going back to reading my Black Dagger Brotherhood book, watch a movie and who knows what else.. possibly make more earrings! (It frustrates me to no end that I can't post pictures etc as I made a few more & with the Kohl's cash we got from getting a few items the beginning of the week that were supposed to be for my trip... I got that pair of owl earrings I liked that I saw when we were there the other day and wish I could post a picture of them for you. :-(

Ok so update on that ihorror I  mentioned before, they are looking for writers and the requirements were to have experience with Word Press, Have to post regularly (which in the reply to my email would be at least once a week.)  it starts out as volunteer type work but can become an actual gig!
I am currently working on my first article for it now. (Not sure when I will send it but will be in the coming week few days as I might try and see it in the theater.) Will make note of link of the article from my blog here (or in next entry)

wish me luck
